Crystal Lake have released the official music video for “Neversleep,” featuring guest vocals from Myke Terry, offering a new glimpse into their forthcoming album "The Weight of Sound".

The Japanese metalcore outfit are set to release "The Weight of Sound" on January 23, 2026, via Century Media Records. “Neversleep” stands out as one of the darker and heavier compositions on the record, blending Crystal Lake’s intense metalcore foundation with pronounced deathcore elements and a sharp hardcore edge.

Myke Terry, known for his work with Volumes and Fire From The Gods, delivers a commanding guest performance that adds further weight to the track. His vocals intertwine seamlessly with those of Crystal Lake’s John Robert Centorrino, resulting in a dynamic contrast that reinforces the song’s oppressive atmosphere and aggressive momentum.

Guitarist and founding member YD commented on the single, explaining that “Neversleep” represents the point where his hardcore, metal and punk influences are pushed to their limits. According to YD, the track was built around simplicity with added twists and hybrid arrangements, aiming to reflect the current extreme sound of Crystal Lake while remaining physical and immediate in its impact.

“Neversleep” follows previously released singles “The Weight of Sound,” “Crossing Nails,” and “BlüdGod,” all of which have highlighted different facets of the band’s evolving sound. Together, these tracks outline an album that promises both aggression and stylistic breadth.

"The Weight of Sound" is currently available for pre-order in multiple formats, including CD and several limited vinyl editions. Following the album’s release, Crystal Lake will embark on a co-headline European and UK tour in early spring 2026 alongside Miss May I, with Great American Ghost and Diesect appearing as special guests.

The tour will span twenty-one dates across Europe and the UK, including stops in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, France, and the United Kingdom.
