Jours Pâles Release New Single “M.O.R.T.” — First Glimpse of Upcoming Album Résonances

From deep gloom and heartbreak rises a new dawn — French melancholic black-metal outfit Jours Pâles have just dropped their new single “M.O.R.T.”, the first warning shot ahead of their forthcoming album "Résonances"(out 5 December 2025 via Les Acteurs De l’Ombre Productions).

Led by composer/vocalist Spellbound, Jours Pâles began in 2020 and built over the years a spectral, emotional signature: a bleak but poetic fusion of black metal, post-black melancholy and introspective atmosphere. Their past work — albums like "Tensions" (2022) and last year’s "Dissolution" (2024) — already showed a band evolving fast, mixing despair, existential pain and personal turmoil with haunting melodies and raw intensity. This new phase promises even more depth and emotional weight.

With "Résonances", the band dives darker themes: separation, loss, inner demons, the weight of existence — but also fragile hope, memory and catharsis. The new single “M.O.R.T.” sets the tone: melancholic yet restless, cold yet burning with emotion, paving the way for a full-length that could be among the most powerful in their catalog.

Here at Pulse Records we love what Jours Pâles are doing — and we’re already gearing up to have their releases in stock. Expect vinyl, and digipack formats of "Résonances" landing soon in our distro. If you’re into black metal with heart, despair and haunting beauty, keep your eyes (and ears) open — this is one you won’t want to miss.
