Megadeth Announce New Dates for 2026 Farewell Tour — Final Thrash Chapter Incoming

After decades of bending strings, thrashing riffs and forging legends, Megadeth have just dropped new dates for their 2026 farewell tour — the final chapter in over forty years of thrash dominance. The band headlines a global send-off, with new Canadian dates added to a tour that already spans South America, Europe and more.

The farewell tour comes on the heels of their upcoming self-titled final album, slated for release on 23 January 2026. This record, built and produced under frontman Dave Mustaine’s guiding hand, promises to close Megadeth’s discography with everything fans expect — ferocity, technical thrash, and raw intensity.

Looking back: since their 1985 debut album the band helped define thrash metal, constantly evolving, surviving crises — addiction, illness, lineup changes — but always returning with snarling riffs and an iron will.
