Mastodon Confirmed for Mystic Festival 2026 Alongside Bloodywood and Rising Global Acts
Mystic Festival 2026 is shaping up to be absolutely monstrous — US prog/sludge veterans Mastodon are returning to Gdańsk Shipyard, joining a stacked bill that pulls bands from both West and East and from just about every corner of heavy music. Four days, five stages, and a sea of riffs from June 3–6, 2026 in Poland’s industrial harbour setting.
The lineup is ridiculous: headliners and heavyweights like Megadeth, Anthrax, Black Label Society, Down, Behemoth, Ice Nine Kills, Overkill, and of course Mastodon, flanked by everything from death and black to sludge, doom, hardcore and prog. You’ve got old-school devastation from Benediction, Grave, Unleashed and Six Feet Under, modern extremity via Blood Incantation, Decapitated, Kublai Khan TX, Thrown, and Static-X, twisted atmospherics from Septicflesh, Carach Angren, Gaahls Wyrd, Harakiri For The Sky, Marduk, Bölzer, Winterfylleth and more, plus cult names like Corrosion Of Conformity, Coroner, Today Is The Day, Death To All, Master Boot Record, Monkey3, Kanonenfieber, Djerv, Hostia, Embryonic Autopsy and a long list of underground killers still being unveiled.
There are already some special twists baked in: The Gathering will perform their classic album “Mandylion” in full, and Death To All continue to honour the legacy of Death on big stages, while Bloodywood bring their East-meets-West hybrid of nu-metal, metalcore and Indian traditional elements to the party. Mystic has built a reputation over the last editions for “all shades of heaviness” — past years saw huge sets from Satyricon, Enter Shikari, Bring Me The Horizon, Accept and more, with press and fans calling the festival a hidden gem thanks to its gritty shipyard location, diverse programming and surprisingly tight organisation.
Expect the usual: multiple stages laid out across the docks, solid security, medical points on site and the kind of logistics that make four days of chaos actually feel navigable.
Here at Pulse Records we’re totally on board with Mystic’s vibe — big names, deep-cut underground bands, and a setting that looks like it was built for metal album covers.
With Mastodon confirmed, we’re making sure our distro shelves stay loaded with their discography, from early sludge chaos to the more expansive prog era.
If you’re the kind of maniac who loves variety in your festival lineups — death, black, sludge, metalcore, prog, doom and everything in between — Mystic Festival 2026 might be the trip to plan, and we’ll happily supply the soundtrack on CD, vinyl and tape before and after the bruises heal.
