Fire in the Mountains 2026 Unveils Exclusive First Lineup | 16 Horsepower, Enslaved, Borknagar & More

The mountains will burn again in 2026 — Fire in the Mountains has dropped its first wave of bands, and the lineup is already unreal. Hosted July 23–26 at Red Eagle Campground on Blackfeet Nation land (MT), the festival returns with its signature blend of nature, heaviness and ceremony. And this year, the exclusives alone are enough to make any metalhead pack their gear and head into the wild.

Leading the charge is an exclusive U.S. reunion performance from 16 Horsepower, alongside monumental sets from Enslaved, Baroness and a U.S.-exclusive appearance by Borknagar. The bill continues with YOB (presented by Firekeeper Alliance), The Ruins of Beverast (exclusive U.S. performance), and the long-awaited Gallowbraid — exclusive U.S. / live debut. Also confirmed: Sigh, Wayfarer, Midwife, Sumerlands, Raven Chacon, Dreadnought, Phobophilic, Tarantella, Galvanist and Nocturne. And the festival hints heavily that more artists will join the lineup soon.

As always, FITM fosters more than a festival — it’s a gathering, a small ecosystem built among peaks, pines and fire-lit nights. Attendees are encouraged to join the official Discord to build camps, plan rides, meet future friends and absorb the communal spirit before arriving on-site. Red Eagle Campground provides the backdrop: wide open land, mountain air and the raw natural atmosphere that has become the festival’s identity.

Here at Pulse Records, we’ve always admired festivals that prioritize soul over spectacle — and Fire in the Mountains stands at the frontier of that philosophy. With exclusive performances, rare appearances and a deep respect for land and tradition, FITM 2026 is shaping up to be something unforgettable. Tickets are already on sale, and with a lineup like this, the pilgrimage into the mountains is calling.
