Exodus - Three New Music Videos Completed for 2025 Album

Exodus have announced that they have already completed three brand-new music videos for their upcoming studio album, expected to arrive next spring through Napalm Records. The clips were directed by Jim Louvau, the Phoenix-based visual artist behind the band’s previous video for “The Fires Of Division” from 2021’s “Persona Non Grata”.

The band shared a photo on December 12 from their “post-video shoot wrap dinner” in Tempe, Arizona, writing: “Three days, three videos done, and they're gonna be sick as fuck. Seriously sick. We couldn’t be happier, and we HATE making videos! Jim Louvau makes it fun for all of us!”

Guitarist Gary Holt recently confirmed that the band’s completed album will likely be released on March 20 and referred to it as “fucking awesome… so awesome… we’re so proud of this record.” According to Holt, Exodus recorded nearly two albums’ worth of material during the sessions, with roughly 80% of the follow-up already completed.

Holt explained that the band lived and worked together intensively throughout the writing and recording process, describing the experience as “heavy metal summer camp.” He praised guitarist Lee Altus, who contributed four of the ten songs on the new record. The band emphasized that selection for the album was difficult due to the strength of the material.

The return of vocalist Rob Dukes has also played a major part in the band’s renewed energy. Holt stated that Dukes’ performance on the forthcoming album is “amazing” and said fans will “shit their pants” when they hear him on the new material. Dukes himself said the songs represent his best work with the band to date, praising the darker, faster, and more experimental elements found across the record.

The new album marks the first time since 1997 that Exodus have worked with a mixer other than Andy Sneap. Instead, Mark Lewis — known for his work with Megadeth, Whitechapel, DevilDriver, and Bad Wolves — handled mixing duties. Holt noted that Sneap encouraged the band to step outside their comfort zone, resulting in a powerful and fresh production approach.

As anticipation builds, Exodus continue to celebrate their legacy as pioneers of American thrash metal. Their landmark debut “Bonded By Blood” helped shape the genre and influenced bands like Testament, Death Angel, and Vio-Lence. With Dukes back in the lineup and a massive new record ready to drop, the band’s next era is shaping up to be one of their strongest yet.
