CRYPTOPSY Announced for Decibel Metal & Beer Fest: Philly 2026

After nearly three and a half decades of unrelenting brutality, Canadian death metal legends CRYPTOPSY are hungrier than ever. Their latest album AN INSATIABLE VIOLENCE is smashing its way through year-end lists at Decibel, Metal Injection, No Clean Singing, and beyond — and now the band adds another milestone to their legacy: a debut appearance at DECIBEL METAL & BEER FEST: PHILLY in 2026.

Taking place Sunday, May 3rd at The Fillmore, this will mark the first time CRYPTOPSY bring their technically deranged chaos to the world’s heaviest craft-beer celebration. And they’re not coming quietly — the band will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their NONE SO VILE Hall of Fame induction while also delivering fresh cuts from AN INSATIABLE VIOLENCE.

“We are so excited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of NONE SO VILE while also showcasing AN INSATIABLE VIOLENCE and the new era of CRYPTOPSY at the world’s most prestigious metal and beer fest,” says frontman Matt McGachy.
